Vintage bike days
« on: July 05, 2009, 07:56:21 AM »
Heading down this year & want to take my bike down but want to know if there's riding around town or is it not worth it? I'm only going for one day & want to see as much as I can so Im not sure if taking the bike would be worht it? And is there anywhere to park a trailer? ( I know I should ride down, but with the one day thing.)

If you're worried about how many calories are in beer, is losing weight really your biggest problem?

I'll be riding out on Friday and spending the whole weekend there. A few friends are riding with me, but i'll be the only one on a vintage bike.

There is a pinned discussion about the VMD and the planned celebration for the 40th anniversary of the SOHC 750.  In case you missed it, here it is:

Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

First, what kind of a trailer are you talking about. Second, the town of Lexington is a few miles east of the race track and will be open for all traffic although, with as much traffic that there will be, it will be crowded everywhere. I will have a covered bike trailer at my campsite with only a c100 cub in it at night and empty during the day.
