Wideband to tune?
« on: July 06, 2009, 10:32:02 AM »
Anyone have any experience using their WB to tune their CB? I want to use mine, and have a few questions.

I currently have a 4-1 header, with a foot or so secondary(?). The secondary is held one with springs. I was planning one welding the bung at the merge collector. But I'm concern that the exhaust gas wouldn't be sufficiently mixed to give a good reading. Am I wrong?

I can't shove the meter/probe down the tail pipe. My "custom" baffle is about 8" long, and the air introduce via my lap joint and being close to the end, would throw off my numbers.

Any ideas or advice?

Oh, and lastly, I'll eventually want to measure each cylinder seperately. But that's a ways down the road.

Thanks!
