Anyone have a good (fast) experience ordering the MAC 4-1 exhaust? I'd like to get one by the end of the week.

contacted MAC and they said they were out of stock a few weeks ago, dunno how they are doing currently

Yeah, I've noticed they haven't been on eBay for at least a few weeks. Did you ask about both chrome and black?

Marshall Deeptone 4 into 1 pipes are on sale now. Shipped for a little under 400 dollars. They appear to be way nicer than any Mac exhaust for not much more money. www.laser-exhausts.com They show pipes available for all sohc4 models.

Marshall pipes look pretty cool

I wonder how this 'Deeptone' sounds though. Doesn't look like the baffle comes out either.

I got my Mac 4-1 for a total of $320 off of ebay. It was the black/chrome one

and I contacted mac about the black/chrome and the chrome/chrome and they were out of stock of both.....

I was surprised how quiet the MAC was, a lot quieter than I thought it would be...

iv'e been looking too ,you could look at this place it's Motorcycle-Exhaust.com the macs are 250.99 .i don't know if they have them in stock though.

I'd like to hear a driveby of the Marshall deeptone. Also Davissilverspares.com has a couple to fit the 350f. Shipping might be a little $$$ though.

I got mine off dennis kirk, the style with black header and chrome canister. Paid for the regular shipping and it arrived the next day...pretty cool! I live in fargo nd and it came from eagan mn which is pretty close so that would explain it. Im really happy with the look and sound. I was going to get all black but that was backordered so i got the chrome. I figured if i didnt like the chrome can, it'd be easy to paint it black rather than to chrome a black can if I got sick of that...but I like the chrome now

I was able to find one about a month back. They were next to impossible to find. I got one at Jerry's Cycles in MI. He had a black one still in stock then. Anyways, my chrome exhaust came in and after about a week the muffler chrome started flaking. They are supposed to send me a replacement when they make new ones, but as of yet I have heard nothing. One of the distributors I spoke to when tracking 1 down told me that MAC doesn't make any until there is a backlog of orders large enough to justify making a batch. He told me sometimes he orders from MAC and it takes a year to get parts. I'll give them a call again one of these days to find out where the heck my new muffler is.

I've heard more mediocre to bad reviews of MAC than positive. Someone should try the Marshalls and post a video review! They look a lot nicer to me. I just ordered 736cc's set of OEM pipes, or I'd be doing just that.

Me too. They don't seem to exist for the 750 SOHCs. Too bad, they look nice!

I just dont know about that Marshall one. This is a picture for the 550F exhaust, and look at the position of the mounting holes for the pipe compared to the angle of the headers...Doesn't look like it'll line up properly on the bike

The catalog photos are always whack. They're usually photoshopped by people who know nothing about the product. The catalog photo they use for the 350F is wrong as well.
