It's sometimes difficult to beleive that these aren't staged.

Yes, that cop one is dodgey. How long must he have been parked to the right of that freshly laid cement? ll the road crew are still there working on the road!

Words really cant explain this.
How do you get your rear end up on a barrier likethat without knowing something is not right??? I can understand the cement more than that!

And to think, some of these women drive around us every day!!!! Some even ride motorcycles!!! Almost makes me want to move to the mountains but gas is hard to get there!

Stephan - that's really cool, but this is the time that calls for a higher res image as some of it is difficult to read...

Read? why bother after all, women drive without reading the manual for the car! Look at hom many do not even know how to fill gas! Less than half know how to check oil even less can change a tire!!!

That's a puzzler.  I did a quick search to see if I could find a higher res version but failed.  Isn't there a bridge or tunnel in NYC where 95 splits into multiple levels?

Although my search was fruitless, I found this gem that we should prolly add to the helmet debate.  That is, we would wonder how an open face helmet worn this way would fare against the evil Snell high speed wedgo-ramo-matic.

I have to admit I can't poke fun at my wife for stopping at rest areas anymore, as when we stopped at one this weekend, I got out and noticed smoke wafting from under my truck! I look under it and transmission fluid is dripping off of everything! I had to keep adding more fluid in order to make it home. If we hadn't stopped, the trans might have run dry and I'd be forking over $2,000 for a trans rebuild!!

Now I won't get down on my wife to much as she has learned to ride this past year ..but

She came home a year ago and said she had had an accident in the truck "97FF-150 extended cab long box"
I ran outside assuming to see some damage, but none found. She insisted I drive back to the store and see what she had done.

She directed me to a car parked all alone in the lot. It looked fine from the rear, but on walking around to the front I could see that the entire front end had been pealed away :o

She was parked beside it and as she backed out the front of the truck bumper had caught on the front of the car ::)
Now I don't know about you, but I would have thought the screeching, tearing noise of the cars front end being ripped off would have been a heads up, but NO, she continued until the car had been completely totaled!! ???

Then got out and apologized ;D

Short while ago, my boss pulled into a gas station, they had four fuel islands, and were constructing a 5th,  all they had were the hoops, about as high as the ones shown here,  but he filled up, paid for gas, turned around to head out, and caught the hoop in the side of the truck, caved it in slightly, rode over the hoop, and bent the rear quarter, made it back to the job site (1/2 mile) and when he hit the brakes he found out that he had broken the springs on his truck when the axle pivoted backwards.

I'd expect to see some damage in that photo.

Ken.

 ;D  That reminds me.........
I used to work at a gasstation when I was a kid. There was a car-dealership next to it with a big showroom full off Audi's and VW's. A woman put filled up her tank, and then tried to turn her car around because someone was in front off her filling his car. She backed into the huge thick glass facade off the showroom. You could see the glass bend a bit, but it didn't break. I guess it was really strong glass.
At this point the woman was wondering why her car wouldn't back up any further, i guess the didn't know glass facades existed. She tried putting it in neutral, then searched for reverse again and floored it! Straight trought the glass, into a brandnew car!  :o

Was her train of thought this I wonder...

"Hmmmm, the car isnt moving.... I should probably get out and see why, but that would be a common sense thing to do.  I think I'll gun it and see what happens"

if so it de-railed
