What would you buy?
« on: July 06, 2009, 08:06:45 PM »
196? Honda S 65:  Missing top end and exhaust, new seat and side covers.   - $150
1974 CB125:  Missing seat.  Was supposedly running 6 months ago - $150
1971 CB175:  Generally unknown.  Says he has $450 in it.  Missing right handlebar control - $450.
No titles...

I need any of these like I need a hole in the head.  Anything jump out at you?

My own personal opinion is I will not buy a bike without a title.  That is just me.  I had a 1965 S-65 and a 1972 CB175 and liked them both.  I would probably go with the 175 so I could take it more places as far as distance.  The 65 is not a very fast bike if you wanted to do country riding.  For the city it would be fun.  I put a ton of miles on my 65 and would fill the tank with a quarter back in the day.

Well, I bought it.  ...For better or worse.  It's in storage until August until I can pick it up...

Yea, I have to agree the 175 was probably the wise choice. I liked the one I had way back when.
