clubmans on 360T
« on: June 27, 2009, 11:32:05 PM »
I'm trying to install clubmans on my 360t and it seems like the line from the master cylinder is is not long enough or tuck in there, can you get longer ones? And the stock turn signals in the front don't allow the cylinder enough room will i have to buy new stubby turn signals?

Any help would be great.

Typically when switching to clubmans you either need a shorter brake line or need to loop it to take up slack, since the stock bars are much higher.  How do you have it routed so that it's actually too short?

If the stock turn signals won't fit with the clubmans installed, then yes, you'll either need to replace them with smaller lights, move them to a different location or get rid of them completely.

Front disc right? the hose should be closer so why is it not reaching? I'm confused.

I put clubmans on my 350. the CABLES were too long and I had to shorten them. Sorry I'm not being much help here...

Nevermind man. I figured it out. The hose coming off the master cylinder  was too kinked up to put it on there, but I figured it out, got everything worked out all gravy. I am going to shorten the throttle and throttle return cables tonight.

to my surprise, the ends on my cables were molded solder. so not knowing this I heated them up to remove them and they came off as pudding! So after cutting the cables to length i cut a couple screws off, drilled holes in them and braized them to the cables. worked great!

They are on in that picture, crappy cell picture but the frame is painted, tank is getting the final coat of paint when I get home from work, side panels are being painted. I think I figured out my clutch issues and the issue with the master cylinder.

Cheers, and thanks for the help fellas.
