What a bust! I don't think there were 200 bikes total.  :(
Friday was hot and sunny, Sat. (day of the bike show) was overcast dool and drizzly
Supposedly there were 15,000 last year.
Oh well, it is a beautiful area.
We camped on the Wanatchee river and had a great ride!

The bike show was actually sunday, the 12th, as the thread and site indicated.
there were only 8 bikes in the japanese class, and probably 2000 bikes total with most lining the side streets.  I took 3rd with my CB350F, getting beat out by a '06 108ci Yamaha Warrior w/NOS, and a fully dressed VTX1800.
Yes, turnout was poor compared to years past, but fun none the less.

Yeah..that was me. ya shoulda come over and introduced yourself!
i was there from 8am until ~5pm.
the 2000# comes from the event planners, and many bikes rolled in and out all day, but still, poor by comparison to years past.
the rain along the I-5 corridor kept many people (some i've talked to since the show) home.
the guy with the Warrior rode up with his wife (on another warrior) from the Tacoma area.  they were soaked. :D
The whole issue with moving the show from Snohomish to Sultan was $ and Police presence.
Snohomish, in the past, charged $5k to hold the event in town.  This is a charity event. This year, they asked $30k increase police presence to 30-40 officers.  Their main gripe was the "biker gangs" needed to be policed.  total BS as there has nothing more than a public intoxication arrest in years past. Sultan, and the event planners did a great job for a last minute event.  rain or shine i'll be there next year.
