Rust, northern MN is awesome. The woods are great and you are sometimes lucky enough to find a natural spring. Now THAT is water!

All same where I live Srust, funnel the city people on certain highways and discourage them from taking side trips other wise they'll want to stay, and the city types lower the property values something fierce, plus the fact their goddam SUV's get in the way and screw up your view of what's ahead.

Let me rephrase- Pike had a great deal to do with the formation of the modern Scottish Rite in America and the formation of the KKK.
Albert Pike's work on the Morals and Dogma of Scottish Rite Freemasonry was only used in the Southern Jurisdiction, it was not used in the Northern Juisdiction at anytime. It's use was discontinued in 1974. He did not form Scottish Rite Fremasonary in the U.S., his work and influence was in the South. Freemasonay in the US is governed by the Grand Lodge of each State unlike Europe. Each Grand Lodge recognizes the other as Masonic. When the Grand Lodge of NY and several other States became intergrated, the Grand Lodge of Alabama removed thier recognition. Therefore I would have been considered "clandestine" in that State and barred from meetings. Freemasonary is not monolithic througout the US and the World. It does make good copy for writers, who have run out of Black Helicopeter tales.

So, I assume you are above 32 degree, Bobby?
