Exhaust ID ? Yosh? Please
« on: July 08, 2009, 05:00:09 AM »
Hi

The collector / header is what I am looking at....would it be yosh....or other.

Obviously the can is Yosh.

Thanks for your help.

That is a full Yosh pipe....the Kerker collector has a midpipe attached to it the is about 12" long which the baffle clamps to. The pipe shown has a long midpipe which the cannister attaches to. It looks exactly like a Yosh pipe I had on my FJ1200

Is there 3 generations of Yoshi headers ???

I have a couple sets with bigger radii than those, but not a full single radius like on 736ccs bike.

It looks similar to the yoshi on mine, minus the can, I never saw one with that, I had a slip in baffle.

They are probably up to 5 or 6 generations now. That bike is typical of what they made for stuff in the mid/late 80's through the mid/late 90's. Their Duplex pipes were different but the primary bends were still conventional. The FJ pipe I had wasn't very good in regards to power. The mid pipe diameter was way to large.
