Rode a demo Kwakker 1400 GTR this afternoon.

Went down to Alfs in Worthing to check out what crash helmets they have. Had a chat with Mick the bike salesman, and he asked me if I fancied a ride on the demo 1400GTR. Well my middle name is 'carpe diem' so naturally I said yup. Filled out the forms, left my id, and Mick explained a couple of details, then just as I was about to take off he said "oh, by the way, there's £2000 excess if you damage the bike!" Sh!te I crawled out of the forecourt :D :D But a couple of minutes later I got my confidence back and opened her up. What a bike! Fell in love within 5 miles. ABS, shaft drive, remus muffler, adjustable height windshield..........the possibilities are endless, as they say. If I had £11,500.- lying around doing nothing I'd have bought her. Made my Triumph Tigger feel puny afterwards.

That bike is on my short list of the next bike I want to buy. It's at the top of the list, too.
