Not enough numbers in the vin

Well guys i bought another 550.It is a 1976 and i tried to look up the vin number but a couple sites i went to said i need 17 digits.So i got my other title out for my 79 and it only has 12 digits also.Anyway the 76 vin on the title is CB5501242376.Is there anyway to look that up to find more info on this bike? Thanks
