I have heard some strange stories about the FJR 1300AE... What did you think of it??? I know the standard FJR is awesome... Seems like you have had a little bit of everything! Well, you still have to get a dual sport...  ;D

I had the FJR for 9 months, and put 14+k on it. And I loved it till  ;D Until it welded itself into 2nd gear. On the way to Charlotte N.C.,to get Iron Butt certified.  :'(. That was minor compared to my riding buddy's R1150 RT (it burned to the ground in a garage fire).I guess God decreed no Iron Butt for thee and thee. I'm sticking to old bikes I can fix myself.Plus I'm to damn old to Iron Butt, and too cheap.
