Topic: K1 Carb Top Rebuild Parts Availability

I am in the process of rebuilding my K1 carbs before putting them back on and after dismantling them two of the gaskets in the top basically disintegrated. This gasket does not appear to be sold separately, and I am not even sure if it is available as part of a kit.

 I ordered 16010-300-305 kit and that includes the rubber on the bottom of the carb top (plus 9 other gaskets, etc.) , but not this gasket (see pic).

 It this part included as part of the Rod Set Throttle 16032-300-004? Or is it part of the Top Set 16014-300-014 ? Both kits mentioned are pricey at $43.00 and $50.00 each, so I want to make sure that I order exactly what I need.

 Really kind of pisses me off that Honda does not sell that part separately or even as part of the gasket kit. I am just spoiled by BMW, I guess.

Phil...I can tell you it is not in the K&L kit either.  Mine were fine so I did not replace them.  I wonder if Z1 could help you.  They sure seem to go out of their way for board members.  If you find them let me know.  I would sure hate to have to buy a whole kit just for those pieces.

Thanks Johnie, I will check them out. Both of the kits I mention in the first post are NLA from Honda. SO that means I have to try and find them elsewhere or rob some from the spare carbs I have.
