That's how it all starts!
My dad had a 74 CL360, and as a kid just thought it was a motorcycle....then my uncle who passed away a while ago, had a 75 CB400F and a 72 CB350F, and gave them to my dad.
My dad doesn't know a lot about mechanics, but loves the old bikes, so he signed them over to me.

The 350F wasn't running at all with a cracked oil pan, now it's got drag bars, new seat cover, pod filters, and is running sweet!

As for the 400F, just rebuilt the entire engine because of a broken cam chain adjuster bolt, and repainted the engine, and tonight just got it timed, and now i'm about to head back out and sync the carbs.....But running very good!

Anyway, welcome!
Oh and forgot to add, that last week I just picked up a 73 CB350 twin for $200, sitting in a backyard for 8 years with vines growing over the tires. Got it home tossed some fuel in it, threw a battery in it, and it magically started, pretty rough mind you, but rode it down the street and came back just before it ran out of fuel. now the bike is down to the frame and forks, cleaning and rebuilding.
Pics soon to come!
It's addicting!
Great people on here! Lots of knowledge, and willingness to help out!
