The few singles off the new album Iggy Pop is doing with Josh Homme/ Queens of the Stone Age are sounding like it should be a pretty awesome album.

 I saw a video about Fahey, his record label lost track of him for a while. One day a recording studio in Tasmania called and said he was doing a live concert and wanted them to record it. He said they would work out all the details just call. They did.

Was that the documentary In Search of Blind Joe Death? It's a good watch if you haven't seen it. Haha, he sure seemed a bit eccentric.
It wasn't until I watched it, that I realised it was Fahey who rediscovered Skip James on his near death bed, and helped get him back into music.
