How do you guys post pics that are big and clear???

Evertime I try they are small not very impressive (thats what she said.....ohhhh) :D

You want to make sure its JPG format and compressed about 90% and around 1024x768 is a good size, tho you could probably go larger.. That is what I do anyway.. Just my 2cents worth. Photoshop works great, if you don't have that then try Gimp or other free photo editors out there. Tho some one else might be able to give you a better idea..

That's the 'trick', if you attach pics directly to your posts they get turned into thumbnails.  If you host the pic on Photobucket or Flickr or something and just link to it using the "Insert Image" button just above the smileys up there, you get a full-sized pic.

The only problem I have with photobucket...and similar sites...is they are free and because of this the photos drop off the site after a period of time. This is an issue if you are looking at posts in the archive.

I especially notice this on the advrider site as the archives go back many years.
