Well all....

I am back, and have not been on, but have been busy.

The first pic is (left to right)
cb750 auto pistons cut for cb650 with 650 cam
kz650 pistons cut for 650 with 650 cam
" " but not cleaned up
" " again not cleaned up
cb650 stock piston
KZ750 high domed pistons(only have 2 good ones :( )
And the last 2 sets are KZ750 low domed pistons.

The pistons on top of the rest are Gentleman's Express pistons.
Both sets are currently spoken for.

In the back are 2 sets of rings for the KZ650 pistons, and 1 cb650 set of cylinders bored for KZ650 pistons.

Some of these pistons are for sale  ;D ;D ;D
cb750 auto pistons WITHOUT wrist pins
*in a 650 these pistons are at or near the stock CR. Possible turbo application??*
**this set can be modified for cb550 use, gives higher compression than cb750K  Gentleman's Express pistons. Stock 550 or 650 cam use only with these pistons**

KZ650 pistons WITH 4 full ring sets rings, 4 wrist pins, 62mm bored and honed cb650 cylinders

KZ650 pistons WITH 4 full ring sets, and 4 wrist pins

KZ650 pistons WITH wrist pins only

*** Sorry at this time the 66mm pistons are not for sale to the general public ***

These 62mm pistons are HIGH CR.(not for 85 octane!!)
All 62mm piston sets I have have been modified to accept cb750 +1mm ring sets.

Anyone who buys a set of pistons gets a FREE 5th piston!!
(free piston is for display ONLY, not use in a motor!!)
They are cb750 F pistons with valve pockets cut for a webcam 58b cam.
These are the result of a test gone awry.
I found out(the hard way!) cb750 F pistons cannot take valve pockets any deeper than for a 650 cam profile when used in a 550 application.
The dome gets too thin  :( , K pistons however have no problem with this.
My lesson learned can be your unique display piece!

PM me if interested.

I may be listing some (or all) on E-bay as well.

$380 for the block, pistons and rings
$175 for the pistons and rings
$110 for the bare pistons(no wrist pins)

I will be offering them on E-bay soon(once I figure it all out)

Any idea what the CR is for the 550 pistons?

How about the piston valve clearance, are they setup for the stock cam?

I wouldn't worry to much about piston to valve with those reliefs.

What if a different cam is used, like a webcam 58a or 58b?  Would that make a difference?

Do these come with the wrist pin? If not do the 550 wrist pins fit in the 750?

I keep losing this thread by not replying in it, so here I go. Brent: we should talk on the phone soon regarding my 66mm piston project. I got a new check form my customer, so I'm ready to get rolling with pistons and liners... PM when's good?

no idea on the CR.

The valve pockets can be what you would need, either a 58a or 58b cam can be accommodated.

wrist pins?
... I'll have to check and see what sets have them.
Just off the top of my head only one of the 62mm piston sets is missing the wrist pins...

Soos what kind of CR do those 550/KZ  pistons have?  62mm diameter correct?  I'm going to need some 61mm's.
