I have actually been lurking for a time, but finally decided to post.
I currently have a 76 CB750 that I have had for 2 years now it is a fairly clean example that I have been converting to Cafe as time and money have allowed. I am running clubmans, Carpy's front turn signals, and have his Dunstall seat, rear signals, new tail light, etc. ready to go after the current riding season.  Finding some decent rearsets is next on the agenda.
This is my second Cafe--the first is a 1980 Moto Morini 500 Sport that I saved from a barn a few years back with 3,000 original miles--I cleaned it up and had it on the road for a couple years till the front cylinder starting losing compression--it is currently in hibernation while I continue to source parts for a full-blown rebuild.  Although, with how much fun I am having with the CB--it may have to wait a loong time.   :)

Welcome Eric. What part of town are you from? Sounds like we should get together sometime for a ride. And we would love to see some pictures.

Keith,

I am in Greentree.  I need to re-size the pics smaller to post them.  I ride a good bit in the summer and am usually at RPMs and/or Quaker State on 51 on Wednesday nights for bike nights.  2 of my riding buddies are close by too--1 rides an army-green 80 GS750 he just re-did with a 78 CX500 Cafe project in his garage, and my other buddy has (2) 76 Goldwings.  Where abouts are you?

Hi Eric,
I'm in Jefferson Hills near Quaker Steak and I pass RPMs on the way to work, but I've never been inside RPMs. When we get a good Wednesday maybe we can meet at Quaker Steak.

Welcome from upstate NY. Good luck on the build. Post pictures when you get them resized, and I wouldn't mind seeing pictures of your other cafe.

I'm new around here also.  Just picked up a CB650C that I'm working on.  Planning a semi-bobber.  (PA inspection laws won't let me go all out.)

MPF:  I'm in Greentree as well.
burmashave:  I'm originally from Syracuse.

How did I get to be from Syracuse? And by the way, it's MFP as in Main Force Police. ;-)

Didn't say you were...you said you're from Upstate NY.  I was saying I'm originally from Syracuse, which is part of upstate NY. :)

Ahhhhhhhh, clear to me now. Sorry. I'm actually from outside of Binghamton. I spend some time now and then up at Syracuse--try to hit the Dinosaur whenever I can.

My parents are convinced I'd never visit them if it weren't for that place.  The wife and I buy the BBQ sauce by the gallon whenever we're up there.
