I'm in need of a right side (clutch) cover. The orginal one has a broken cable mount and the one I bought off of Ebay is not correct, I think it fits the 1965 models only.

Here is the orginal:

Here is the one I bought, look at where the chop stick is pointing.

Anyone have one for sale?

Well I have located the right side cover. This is the place that had one.

Now, can you name the place, city, and state?

The piston was stuck real good so we ended up going 2nd oversized.

Here is the head assembly:

Time to install the piston and get ready to install the cylinder.

The hose clamp is to compress the rings during the cylinder installation.

Time to install the head. Make sure to not let the cam chain drop down into the cylinder!

Time for the cam, we need to line up the timing marks on the flywheel and the cam sprocket. Look where the chop stick is pointing, there are samll "O" marks.

One more item with the cam, there is a small dowel pin for driving the spark advance, remove it before you install the cam, you will need to re-install it after you install the cover/seal so don't lose it!

Time to align the cam timing marks and install the cam. Make sure the valve adjustment screwws are backed out (loose) as it makes installing the cam easier.

There is also another timing mark on the head as shown here.

Install the cam and secure using two bolts, also use a drop of blue loctite as no lock washers are used.

Time to set the valve gaps. The spec is .002" for both the exhaust and intake, as I like mine loose, I set them to .0025".

Lastly, let's install the cam cover/seal. Make sure to install the dowel pin afterwards!

On to the magneto. Notice the bad solder joints? Did I mention I hate PO's? Who ever did this should be shot!

Here is the answer to my previous question, where is this place.

It's Ed's Honda Repair in Bakersfield, CA. Ed has a neet old time shop. They only work on old Honda's. The shop is busy enough to employee three full time mechanics. To the guys in the area, it is worth a stop to go and visit.
