powder coated swing arm
« on: November 17, 2005, 01:49:17 PM »
so i had the frame and swing arm powder coated this past week. unfortunely they over sprayed into the pivot sleeve, not a lot really, but enough to make me concerned the new brass bushings might not fit. how should i go about removing the over spray?

i didn't realize they would work.
also there is a spot that has a drip that hardened at the end of the swing arm. basically hanging off the back end. how could i smooth this out?  light sanding and then polish?

swharp exacto knife will remove that drip

Will also work to remove most of the overspray. The swingarm is steel so not too much to worry about just don't get all crazy.

Finish it out with the scotchbrite pad. Saves mucho elbow work.
