Regarding the FAQ for removng rust from a tank
« on: July 15, 2009, 08:12:40 PM »
If I don't have a battery charger, will my battery tender do the same?  If it takes all night, that is fine.

thanks

As long as you can get 2amps, it should work.

I've found "The Works" toilet bowl cleaner to be much quicker though.

This is basically a trickle charger is it not?  If it does not work you may have hook up the battery between the tank and charger.  A few have had to do this depending on what type of charger they have.  It would be nice to have an amp meter
on the charger so you can see what's going on.
