Oil tank cb/cr 750 '73
« on: July 20, 2009, 01:56:58 AM »
Hey all, first post here.

I have a 73 cb750 that is being turned into a cafe. I need to know what all the ports are for on the oil tank as I need to make a new one. Volume would be good too.

thanks,

I believe the original has, aside from the uppermost filler port, separate send and return ports at its lowest point, along with a tapped hole for drainage. On the back side, there are upper and lower vent ports. I would say that 4 quarts would be adequate for the oil tank, 3 for the motor and 1 just in case of overfilling, but others will know more.
