My 75F I just double drilled disc'd it and made a new muffler. 8,300 miles

This is an awesome idea.  Here's my cb750F.  Bought in 2005 for $750.  It's been a long road, but she runs like a champ now, and looks a little better too.

Hey Don I was looking at the dual brake setup you have and you have the plastic rotor cover on the right side.  How did you do that?

Heres my '78.  Got it in October and put a couple hundred miles on it and have been slowly fixing her up.  Suppost to have an 836 kit and aftermarket cam but who knows.  I shortened the stock seat so it still hinges and found the '75 header in the local junkyard, I like it better and it was alot cheaper than an aftermarket piece.  Gonna make some clubman style bars for it and dunno what else.

I bought my 77F last summer and when i got it it wouldnt idle without the choke, and wouldnt rev without turning the choke off.  With my limited knowledge i decided it was running lean.  What i did was pulled the carb bowls to have a look at how clean the jets were (just in case) and they were clean, then i turned the adjustment screws out a few turns to richen it up.  It idled and ran great for the rest of the summer.  (I also took off the crappy pods and put on a stock air box i had laying around)  Even though it runs good now, the idle screws are turned out much farther than stock and i know its not set correctly.  I assume i need to adjust the needle clip positions, but i just didnt have time to pull the carbs and mess with it back then.  Well, now i do.

While i have it apart i was wondering if i should up the jets to 120.  If memory serves me it has 110's in it right now.  Some fairly knowledgable 750 people have told me it would run better with 120 mains, and i figure if i have to take it apart anyway, now would be the time.

So, my question is, what jet size are people running in their F2/3's and where do you have the clips and idle screws set?  I have a stock air box and filter as well as stock HM410 exhaust without baffle.

Not sure what you mean by the float clips but if you are referring to the float bowl I run 14mm gap, 110 mains and my idle screw is set at 1 3/4 turns out.  I also run the PAMCO electronic ignition and the bike starts faster than my car.  Smokes like hell due to internal reasons but man she starts fast!

On the right hand rotor fender, I cut the mount off of one and removed the entire mounting plate from another, then riveted the mount plate to the opposite side. It took an evening of head scratching, fitting and grinding. I had thought about inverting the forks to put the caliper weight under the forks but I like the appearance of it as is.

So I've been working on getting my Architecture portfolio together, and needed some new photos of my 750F for it.  I did a mini photo shoot in my garage.  Here's the results...

Is it safe to assume you are storing your battery up under the rear seat cowl?  and if so do you mind telling me what battery you are running?  A friend is building a cafe bike and we were lookin for options.

Nice pics mate, but where's your oil tank? Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Thanks for the compliments all!

Terry- the oil tank is tucked into the frame just behind the airbox.  it runs parallel to the rails.  It was really a pain to make it all work...

Don- the backdrop is just a white sheet hung about 10 inches behind the bike, I lit both the sheet and the bike.

That oil tank might have been a pain - but it is the best alternative tank location I have seen on a CB750, well done.
