Figured I'd give life to this thread again.

Went out for my first proper ride on the old girl yesterday since buying it back in October.

Was plesently surprised with the performance, although I'm glad I've got twin disks up front after being used to my previous bike, still calibration required on my end.

I dug this up while looking for old pics of my F1 double disc bike and thought it would be good for another look.

Stupid question really but worth a try, does anyone in the UK modifying /café-ing their F1 or F2 have any of the seat trim strip for sale? It's absence annoys me every time I look at my bike.

Nice! Never seen this thread. Took a while to skim through it....... here’s mine, upside down as usual! Why  is that? If you tap on my photos, to expand, they are right side up. Weird.

Thanks! Finding an EXCELLENT set of pipes (on this forum) and an equally nice muffler, really finished the restoration.

Well don't lean it over too hard in a right hander mate, I bought a chicken yellow F0 just like yours brand new in 1978 (it was a '75 model, but dealers couldn't move them, so I got a big discount) and the first time I went through some "S" bends, the big bulbous muffler grabbed the tarmac and threw me and my passenger down the road. I threw it away and bought an RC 4 into 1 and never had that problem again. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)

Terry, it drags the collector on the right and centre stand on the left. At least the new parts don’t have wear marks yet ;).. I bought those pipes years ago for cheap and never got around to installing them.

No worries mate, good to see one in such good condition, just be careful when pushing it too hard two-up. ;D

I have an Orange 750 F1 that was taken apart by a not too bright PO. I hope to loosely re-assemble it into a complete project bike for someone that's looking for one to rebuild.
