Just wondering if the frame and engine numbers all matched when leaving the factory.

I think my 74 cb750 has a replacement engine.

No they never match or matched from the factory

Correct.

The engine should match the year.....but thats about as close as they come.

If they match its hookey. Engine should be within a couple hundred higher than frame

My 72 engine number is almost 8000 higher than the frame number.
