Another POR-15 question
« on: July 19, 2009, 07:18:53 AM »
Just to make sure I order the correct kit, I should be ordering the "utility and cycle repair" kit to do my CB500.  Am I correct in thinking that?

is there a previous liner in your tank? If so, you want the one that has the Stripper in it (sorry, paint, not pole  ;) ) otherwise you will have to buy something to remove it. If it's just rusty, then I think it's the cycle one, has the marine clean, metal ready, and sealer. As a side note, when i just did mine, the quart of metal ready they gave me didnt' seem to be enough to effectively get everywhere, not that it went bad, but I think it would have been easier with more of it in there. That is just my thoughts though.

Sure it's for sale! How much you ask?? Well, how much are you willing to pay??? Now triple it, that's the price!
