Napolean Mirrors; Left or Right??
« on: July 19, 2009, 08:27:13 AM »
Are Napolean bar-end mirrors left and righties, or do they interchange either side?

Should be universal.

Yep, they fit every which way. left, right, above bar, below bar, etc.. fully adjustable
Give me..a frame to build a bike on, and my imagination will build upon that frame

Are you sure those are Napoleon brand mirrors.  The Emgo knock-offs are cheap, but the Napoleons are well made.  I've had the same pair of Napoleon chrome bar end mirrors for about 8 years and there's no rust on them at all.

Bought them at some bike accessory shop in Austin, TX about eight years ago.  I'm sure they're still available through various on-line suppliers.

Hmm...  I can't seem to find any chrome ones on-line right now.  I did find some info that Napoleon was out of stock of the chrome ones last Summer, but I'd think that would be taken care of by now.

As far as the finish on the black ones is concerned, I have a feeling that the people who said the finish doesn't hold up well were referring to the cheaper brands.  The Napoleon mirrors often get a bad rap because they get lumped in with the inferior, but similar looking brands.
