Head Porting tutorial
« on: July 22, 2009, 01:42:21 PM »
I have a spare CB750 head that I'd like to try and port for practice. Does anyone know of a decent tutorial (specifically for the 750) for this?

Some info., can't vouch for it though.

As far as anyhting in print, that's the holy grail. Branch did a Hemi on the combustion chambers and that is no longer the standard fare. Most machinists will now leave a substantial part of the swirl castings in the chambers.

But the parts about the ports are still current I think. And its mostly the intakes that need the work. Not so much on the exhausts.
