Ever since I stumbled into Benjiescaferacers I've been wanting one. Not as radical a bike as Benji builds, but something with that '70s look. I almost picked up a new Triumph Bonneville, but then came to my senses when I realized my bike would exist mostly for tinkering. So one day I found myself with a few G's in my pocket and the bike I had been looking for turned up on Craigslist about an hour from home. It was in beautiful, yet used, condition and I bought it on the spot. I put about 100 miles on it over the course of a month and realized that the front brake sucks and the seat foam was about done. Solution was a Giuliari reproduction Cafe seat and the dual-disc conversion (knowledge compliments of these forums/anubis cycles and eBay, eBay, eBay). The rotors have been cross-drilled and the new SS cables are fed by the master cylinder from a '75 Goldwing.
I'm pretty active in my Buell forums and have found lots of good rides and friends, so I figured I'd come out of lurker-mode over here and innerdeuce myself. Hi. I'm Scott. Or Scotteronomy if you're into the whole brevity thing.
