LESTER MAG peoples?!!!! (tires)

So I go them back from the powder coater and they look awesome...being an idiot, I forgot to take pictures of the info printed on them...They are 19" Front and 18" back.

- Anybody have this info?

- Are these tube or tubeless?

- what tires are you running or would recommend?

I'm running Melber Alloy wheels on my Kettle and using inner tubes also ,don't know if that helps you, cheers Mick

They are tube type only and same as stock size. I bought mine in the late 70's. I can look for my old paperwork, scan and e-mail to you. I have done this once before. Dan

I am new to tires but I was just quoted $240 for a set of Avons that I believe will fit...the front is 100 wide and the rear 150...will my 78K accomodate wheels that wide? I want to go as wide as I can...my friend thinks I am an idiot and should keep the stock widths...what do you all think?

I will e-mail tonight. Search for hondaman posts on tire sizes. You really do not want to go as wide as possible. When I get home I can also search for the excellant write up by Hondaman on tire sizes and handleing. Dan

All I could find was some installation instructions that did not mention tubed or tubeless. I am 100% positive that my set of Lesters were ONLY to be run with a tube. The bead and filler hole are both designed for tubed tires. I remember a paper with this warning on it. I hope this helps. Dan
