My bike out on the road
« on: July 21, 2009, 01:28:54 PM »
I uploaded a new video today of my bike with the baffle/can I made. Here it is if you want to hear it.

Picture is no good. I dont own a video camera and used a laptop webcam, so it sucks in the sunshine. There were two cop cars parked in a parking lot about a block away from me, which I didnt know until after the last run down the street. :)

Shame about all the snow Johnny but she sounds damn good. ;D, the bike sounded OK too. :D
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

I kinda liked the vid, all 1960 French arty/farty    !!....What I heard, apart from exhaust was TUNE, your bike sounded on tune ( tuned ) IMO........
I've heard lots of 4-into-1 pipes, but I concentrate on tune, not noise/loudness, which is sweet on it's own, but tuned motor cannot be 'hidden' by loud pipes IMO...I heard it most on up-shift, anyone else?, or does anyone else recognise this ??

If your sure it's a carb problem; it's ignition,

So pods can be tuned.....   :D

Seriously, thanks. I've worked hard to get this engine and carb working the best it can. Most of the props goes to this forum!

Thanks.

Man, the weather here has been dreadful lately. And the forecast for the next few days looks crappy too.

Eh, Michigan....

Sounds great.

I took the baffles out of my 4-2 and it is excruciatingly loud.  I may try some home brew baffles instead now.
No matter how fast or how far I rode, I couldn't leave her memory behind.
