Petcock cb 550F 75'

Hi

The petcock from my 1975 Honda CB 550F is leaking. The local dealers and hardware stores don'y have the correct washer and o-ring that is needed for this petcock. Anyone knows the part nr. for the original washer and o-ring? Picture of my current type of petcock: http://img199.yfrog.com/i/ae0f1.jpg/

As an alternative, do you know if this one will fit as a replacement?

Are you looking for the o-ring that fits behind the petcock handle or the rubber gaskets (look like o-rings) that work with the tank mounting nut?

Here's a question I haven't seen addressed. Inside the petcock are three holes and
a small nipple for orienting the gasket (at 12 oclock). The hole at 9 oclock has a small lip that protrudes out from the face. What's that for? Is it only to further position the gasket? Is it vital? Anyone know?

Does anyone have an answer to this question? I'm running into the same problem. Same bike, 1975 Honda cb550F and I cannot find replacement parts for the petcock. Will any aftermarket petcock fit?
