What's with some of the members..........

I have contacted people here in "parts for sale",asking for certain parts ........I get no answer...

Others who are looking for parts in  "parts wanted".....I  have PMed them with item description and usually good(cheap)prices, some times free/you pay shipping  no response

Several times now people have said they wanted parts, or would come and pick them up............no show

One member even asked for a paypal money request......haven't heard nothing since.....

It's not like some of these guys are new members, some of them have been around for a long time,8000 posts,900 posts,150 posts,20 posts etc.

I know everyone is busy.......but at times so am I.........I figure if I make the effort to look for parts,remove them from a bike,contact someone about buying or selling , the least they can do is take the time to say.... already found one or no thanks


And as a final note ..when you find or sell what you wanted...mention it in you post

       I totally agree, if they can make the initial request, you'd think they could follow through (or, at least say something. If they were in your shoes, they'd be hollering, Big Time!!

I've been trying to keep my post count down so no one will think I'm important or anything.
I agree 100% though.  Rudeness leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

They all have one thing in common.  They're human, just like everybody else you deal with in everyday life, and as such are self-centered.

To the member , who needed a set of floats, that I pulled off a set of carbs, then went and got a shipping price...

  you could have at least sent a message, seeing as it has been about 6 months...

I know I forget sometimes and get busy on other things too but I had a member on the 650 site even send me a check for a exhaust unsigned.  Sent him a pm but no responce.

I've pulled parts,dug through boxes looking for parts,took things off of fee-bay(cost me my listing fees),told people things were sold waiting on shipping/pic-up.........waited for someone to say they had a part before I went to e-bay..

If this happened only once or twice.......ok,but just a quick count it has happened about 4 times (Selling)to members
and not sure about buying.....

One more little #$%* while I'm at it...............If you get a part shipped to you,do the seller/giver a favor and send him a PM letting them know that you got it or are satisfied with it.......I know shipping can take a while sometimes
