Couple more things to think of. Mr Blasty is right, you may want to try benadryl or atarax if the itch is still bad. Just dont ride, you may be sleepy.
The number of stings you got may have sensitized your immune response. If you ever get stung again, your systemic response may be worse, ie, difficulty breathing. Someone else said this too, you may want to have an Epi pen with you.

we get a lot of mosquitos and smaller bugs in the air.
hate when they get up my vents and are buzzing around in my helmet.

meat tenderizer on fresh stings helps
+1
make a paste out of it w/ water. works great.
most outdoor stoors and pharms carry a 'bite stick'.  kinda like a pen w/ pain med in it.
dab it on and let it dry.  these are great for camping.

I carry that epipen everywhere for me and my youngest son.

That pic you posted looks more like a yellow jacket.  I disturbed a nest a couple years ago, and tore a tendon trying to get away.  And I don't know what kind of bee it was that I stepped on 3 or 4 weeks ago, but Benadryl cream took the pain away INSTANTLY.

Gday HT, mate the same thing happened to me about 20 years ago. A mate and i were going for a ride in Sydney, heading to Reevsby, i was ahead of my mate, about 400 metres, and out of his site as the road has a couple of tight turns. As i was half way round a tight corner a bloody wasp went in the left hand side of my helmet and stung me in my left ear...  :o. It hurt like hell and i immediately tore my helmet off {without stopping, i had a car up my arse by now} , and waited a couple of minutes before turning around to go and retrieve my helmet. When i got to where my helmet was on the side of the road my mate was standing there looking at my helmet and then looking over the edge as he thought i had been hit and gone over the cliff....When he had pulled up my helmet was still spinning around on the ground, it really freaked him out. The look on his face when he saw me was priceless.... ;D

Well they were wasps or yelloy jackets or the same thing...

Definitely weren't "bees". Large little effers too.

I think I'm going to avoid that road for a while.  :D

I haven't been stung in years but believe me, whenever I do get stung, that one wasp just signed its entire colony's death warrant!

I had a very close call yesterday in the garage. I had just put my drink down and reached for something....picked up my drink again and took a swig. Instantly I knew what happened as I felt something a little different in my mouth full of beer. Luckily I was next to the slop sink so I spat out the mouthful (a waste I know!) and there was a bee!! Thank god I got it out BEFORE it could sticg me in the mouth. Saw it happen to a buddy once and his whole mouth had swolen to the point where it was hard to understand him!

I had a bee get in my can of mountain dew years ago.
I noticed him when he stung my throat on way down.
Thank god I am not allergic to them.
Now, when I see a bee near my drink, it gets shot down with carb cleaner.

When I was a kid I threw my sister's shoe into the bush near our house.  My mom told me I had to go find it so I headed into the bush and hopped up on a big old rotten stump to have a better look.  Next thing I knew there was the biggest cloud of yellow jackets surrounding me.  Ran as fast as I could to the house while they were stinging the #$%* out of me, the swarm followed me in, my mom screamed at me to get out of the house, and the swarm followed me out.

Then my mom proceeded to tear off all my clothes in front of all the neighbour ladies who were hanging out on the deck.

The little bastards were even in my underwear.  Good times, naked, swollen, and racked with pain.  I still feel a little surge of panic if one flies right into my face out of the blue.

I guess my sister had the last laugh.

I understand that with wasps and bee's one venom is acid based and the other is alkali based. (can't remember which is which) so for one use baking soda and for the other use vinegar to neutralise the effect.
