Any interest in a "bolt on parts from other bikes" thread

Not sure if there has already been threads or an area for this but I am sure some others have an interest in it like me...

I'm always curious what parts are interchangeable or "direct/semi-direct" bolt on from, not just Honda's but other makes and models.

I'd love to see a thread of parts people have used from other bikes on their SOHC4's with little to no modification inorder to get them to work.

For example, I've considered finding a pair of rims off an old Ninja or VTR but I would have no idea of the modifications involved to fit them on my CB550F without buying the wheels and trying them out.

Shocks, wheels, forks, clip ons, etc...

Or a tach/speedo cluster or any other electrical component that doesnt involve complete re-wiring.

-----------

The only item I've used so far off a non-Honda was a 1979 KZ-750 tail light.  Not a direct bolt on for mounting, because I recessed it into my custom seat/tail...... but the 3 wires matched up perfectly to my CB550F taillight wiring.

I think it'd be a bit of a meandering thread just because of the endless combinations and permutations - bit like reproducing Service Honda's parts catalogue cross reference in words. It'd be interesting nonetheless so let me kick off with one...

I've got Norton M30 (Manx) lower fork legs on my Honda CB450 and a GL1000 primary drive in my SOHC CB750, hmm come to think of it that SOHC 750 has a DOHC 750 crank in it too...and a CB200 camchain blade and a CB700 cam sprocket. Yep maybe I'm right, too many possibilities :D!
