You know, I'll mention one other thing, that definitely threw me off. Of course, I am not that experienced; so, this may be well known to everyone else.
Spark plug wires- if #1 is not grounded, #4 WILL NOT fire. So, if a boot is ill-connected to the wire, not only will that cylinder have a problem but so will it's coil partner. This is also a possibility in my case. I did re-attach all the boots in conjunction with re-connecting all the coil leads. It's something to keep in mind, or add to the list things to check when 2 cylinders cut out. My $.02
