Spirit Lake Idaho area?
« on: July 21, 2009, 08:51:48 PM »
The wife and I are going to be in Idaho all of next week and we're bringing our bikes. Any ride suggestions around Spirit Lake?

Believe me, when you get there you'll have no trouble finding good rides.  Get a free road map from a visitor's center and hit the secondary roads.  Just stay away from Hwy 95 from Coeur D'Alene to Sandpoint during rush hour.  There are good rides in northeastern Washington and in northwestern Montana, too.  Hard to go wrong up there.

Thanks, yeah I kind of figured we could pretty much just take off. As long as I get a cell signal I can't get lost.
Good tip, I was thinking I should ask what roads to avoid
