Randakk's CBX 330mm Discs and AP 6 piston Calipers
« on: July 25, 2009, 07:31:45 PM »

This kit is being made for Randakk, the early Goldwing guy ( http://randakks.com/ ) and his GL 1000 Goldwing also has one of my big brake kits on it.
The front end is a 82 CBX and the discs are 330mm off a Honda 929. The calipers are AP Racing 6 piston.

Here is a slide show to show the progress so far.

I stopped today when I got the disc adaptors made up and the complete kit should be done next weeek.

Cool looking, I did a 6 pot conversion for a hopped up KZ 1000 a few years ago, he was running wires with Excel rims. I think his discs were a bit smaller.

Thanks for the compliments.

 754,
   Here's a KZ 900 6 piston kit I made a few weeks ago (310mm discs).
I have started a website on my big brake kits (I'm still working on it).

http://www.fishheadbigbrakes.com/

Heres a slideshow of some of the kits I have made in the past

If you  click on the "main" tag (top-right hand corner) in either slideshow, it will take you to a page where you can click on the photos to see a larger view of the same pics.
