Parked my bike at the end of a long trip in September because the chain had stretched to its limit. Ordered new sprockets and chain from local Honda dealer who had to back order. Then I hurt my back and figured, can't ride or fix the chain anyway, might as well wait for them to come in. After a month and half my back was healed but still only the front sprocket had come in! Called Honda dealer, they called their parts house who said they couldn't get a chain until mid-December. What the hell, they have to mine to ore first or what?
Told them to cancel the order which they only did because they were sympathetic to waiting another month and a half.
So I ordered from Dennis Kirk and had the rear sprocket and chain in 3 days! Learned a big lesson there. Then it rained. And rained. Oh yeah, and it rained. Having nowhere inside to work on the bike I had to wait it out. Today I had the day off, it was sunny, and I FINALLY got the new items put on and went for a ride after being grounded for two months! All that built up stress melted away as the miles went by. Who needs medication for stress when there's motorcycles! OK, I think I'm done now. Had to get that off my chest.
