New Guy in New Jersey
« on: July 15, 2009, 05:42:13 PM »
Glad to get a line on this forum. One of my buddies gave me a heads up on the site. I'm an enthusiast and have a '76 CB550K in the garage that is in need of restoration. This was a project I saved from the junkman, but it is complete. I hope to get some good info here.

Howdy,

I'm pretty new myself. I picked up a '76 CB550k a month ago. Been fixing it up ever since. I live in north jersey. If you ever in the area, or need help, I don't know much but I'm learnin a lot with these repairs that I'm doing.

Good luck and enjoy your bike.

Greetings from the other side of the Hudson. Where in Jersy are you guys?

But we were boys, and boys will be boys, and so they will. To us, everything was dangerous, but what of that? Had we not been made to live forever?

It is ok same rainy summer you have on that side. I am over in Westchester not far from Bear Mt. I know Boonton, I used to take 287 and stop there for gas on my trips South. I am going to AC next week for a few days to make my annual donations at various Casinos. The Borgota Comps me rooms, I guess they love a loser. >:(

Passed through Boonton on the way to Morristown in May, also visit Rockaway Mall when over at my daughter's. Will be back there in October, she lives up near Sussex.
