I have bought a 1972cb750 for the purpose of making an old school semi cafe styled bike to satisfy my craving for an inline four,This is not my first bike nor my first rehab on and older scoot I have been riding since I was 18 and will be fifty next month and have owned a little of every thing,Can -Am's,Kaws and Yamahas, Harleys and Atvs too,if it has two wheels or four(notice I didn't say three) and you sit on it not in it I like it,My daily ride is a 92VN750 Kaw that has been modified more than a little.
This old Cb has been around a while and a buddy of mine rode it several years till he was fixing it (Cough,cough) and bent a valve or two.and he sold it to another guy here in town who never did fix the old girl and I think it is in need of a rescue .I am hoping to get it up before next spring but time is not the most important criteria,I have been lurking around here and looking at some of your rides and got the little hamster in my head running on it's wheel ,I'll probably be asking advice quite often and you may tire of me in a hurry ,but I hope to meet some new friends here ,like on the VN750 board feel free to check out my Cruister as I like to call it over on VN750forums ,same username,it looks different an is fun too boot but I want to hear that growl,from a four.
