i've heard a few people with the same complaint about eb. too bad as i was going to look into selling some of my art there (if i got off my keister and produced), but now i'm lookin elsewhere. i love amazon so if they competed i'd be an easy convert!
i'd love to see close up pix of your (bikes) seat. the idea that a cool custom chopper type deal works out well on our kinda bike and mates up with a the hinge n stuff is neato.
i was gonna, ask but you volunteered, the sound clip of those pipes.
feeBay might be OK to sell art on except they might charge some really high fees just to list it, if you put a high price on your art (whether or not it sells, you still have to pay the fees). Depending on what kind of stuff you do,
http://www.etsy.com/ might be a better match? What kind of art do you do? I paint, sculpture (carve soapstone and pipestone), write, do music, etc. - a renaissance gal.
Here are the original pictures in the feeBay ad, of the seat. The seller had two of them they sold a week apart about two years ago, and I have never seen the same seat before or since. They were NOS (new, old stock) and in great shape except for a bit of rust on the pan. There was just a sticker on the bottom that said CB500 and that's it - no other info. They both sold for under $40?!? I really should have bought the second one too. ..
RE: the exhaust sound, I think I will have to do like a short video or something, as I was just given a video camera that uses compact flash cards. It's kinda crappy but would be enough to do a video of the bike running. Maybe I will have to have fun with it too, and dress kinda hot and kick start then rev the bike or something. . . .LOL
