Its a 1976 CB550F that I purchased 2 summers ago at mid-ohio vintage days for $900. When I purchased the bike it was pretty much bone stock except for the paint and comstar wheels, then over this past summer I started collecting parts to make it a cafe' bike. I did all the work myself the mods include: velocity stacks on the carbs, sigle cafe' seat, clubman bars, and custom tail light. I have a set of  italian tarozzipaolo rear sets that I am fitting up right now. I love the bike, it sure puts a big smile on my face when I roll up to local gatherings on my Univ. campus when all the other rides are Harleys, R1's, GSXR's and CBR's, especially when they spent a couple hundred on their exhaust and I spent 5 mins making mine 10 times louder and better sounding. ;D Here is the link to some pics of my bike, enjoy. http://community.webshots.com/user/AZCB550F

I get some pics of the plate braket up in a day or two. It took me a while to figure out how to mount it all back there but I ended up just taking some 1.5"X1/8" flat stock I had laying around cut it up bent it and welded a T up from it to mount the tail light then drilled a hole to the side and took a piece as long as the plate and to mount behind the plate to keep the wind from bending the plate. The whole bracket just mounts to the pre-existing holes in the frame from the factory sissy bar. The only problem I have run it with the plate is that on hard bumps the tire whacks it sometimes :). The bracket works out real nice because it works with any style trailier light you can pick up from the auto parts store.

Kick ass bike!  Looks like Im not the only one who thinks 550s look great in front of an old F150 for a photo shoot.  Shoulda caked it in mud first, always a nice touch.   ;D
