Hi guys,

As the title states, I've got a 1980 CB650 C with Kein PD carbs. I do have a set of Pod filters on it as well as a 4-1 exhaust but other than that everything else is stock. Does anyone have any recommendations on jet sizes?

As of right now I have to ride the bike with the choke pulled for the most part. I think I just need larger main jets, it seems to run well until I get into the mid range power, then it just kinda bogs out.

Anyone have any suggestions? Also, where can I find main jets for this bike?

Any info is greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Brian

I am installing a mac 4-1 exhaust and eventually
pods. Should I just get the 110's an do the pods
later, or wait and do the pods at the same time.
Will it run to rich without the pods on yet?

Or, option 2, just put the exhaust on without doing
the jets right away?

one thing at a time, new exhaust doesn't mean re jetting all the time

sorry to bump this again, but I have the same question, I'm having similar problems with my 650c, it has a 4 in 1, and pods, but I am not sure if the PO has changed the jet size, as the bike boggs down midrange. any update on this?

I'm running 116s with a pod filter and a port and polished head.  Should be getting the mac 4-1 in the mail sometime soon.  Although this topic seems dead, i'll check back and post results after installation.

Gas mileage wise I get around 40mpg on 93 pump gas, not as good as other 650s but the plugs don't look bad at all,

Peace
