For an image click on additional options... at the bottom and choose the button that says choose file.. however there is a limit to how big the file can be but try it and see if it works for you.

Other wise just the insert hyperlink button at the top if you have a link to an image.

Anytime.. Also you can modify your post, when you go into a post you posted a modify link shows up so you don't have to start all over again.

You can also use a website to host your images like Photobucket.com.  After you upload your images there, click the link for the IMG code and then just paste it here and it'll show the image.
