Any suggestions ?
« on: July 31, 2009, 05:12:44 AM »
got home from a short ride and there was a small bit of oil that I was going to wipe down.

Anyway, without thinking,  took my microfiber cloth and wiped it off - only to find that a small portion of the cloth had
melted to my brand new pipes

Any suggestions as to how to get the remains off those pipes without scratching them ?
Yep, I'm the kid that figured out how to put things back together...eventually.

Maybe heat it up again & it will come off? Go for a ride then try to get it off with a mechanics glove. Might work? & I still love that bike! The front drum makes it look 10 or 20 years older.

If you're worried about how many calories are in beer, is losing weight really your biggest problem?

Good idea when hot so the goop re-melts. Help persuade it w/ some 0000 steel wool
