750F exhaust mod question
« on: August 03, 2009, 10:44:40 AM »

I have the stock header and collector for my bike on it, and a straight pipe with some baffle after it.  Now that I've moved the pegs to the rear, you can see a LOT more of the collector...has anyone done any of their own mods to make this thing smaller?

Am I understanding that the bulk of the collector under the engine is upsetting to your sense of aesthetics?  The 77-78 750F header collects in a flat, horizontal line which has less of a profile than the 75-76 header.
Give me..a frame to build a bike on, and my imagination will build upon that frame

Something like that, I didn't notice it as much when my peg and foot covered it I suppose.  And not that many people look at it from down low, but it is kinda a big blip in the line of the bottom of the bike!  Was just curious more than anything   ;D
