Are you so sure I was wrong? What then is it called LP gas?

Because you're looking at it with the parenthesis in the wrong place. It's liquefied (petroleum gas), not (liquefied petroleum) gas.

Quote
It is a gas under pressure to make it a liquid.

So is tap water. It's water vapor under pressure to make it a liquid.

Quote
Same as this concept with hydrogen. but whatever. I could go on but whats the point. I knew what I was saying and apparently everyone else did too. You wanted to be a stickler, thats fine but you might want to stickle yourself first. Just a thought.

Don't fault me for being right.

Are you really asking me if it would be better to make a correct statement?

You are correct, but not completely. It is under pressure to keep the boiling point high, to keep it a liquid, not to make it a liquid....

I simply said I liked the bike. No I don't spend every waking moment trying to come up with some kind of snappy insult.

I don't need to wast my life trying to make up for some sort of social inadiquicy. So have fun in life, I hope it goes well for you sorry I don't match up to elder vinman. Piss off.

This would make sense if I was, in fact, trying to make up for some social inadequacy. Instead, I just stopped in from a couple hours of bondo, fiberglass, sanding, cutting, and aluminum fabrication for my 550 for a quick break. I'm sorry that your dislike of my online persona manifests itself as petty character assassinations and ad hominem arguments. I look forward to the day when you finally grow up.

When did all the flamers show up?  A thread about an ugly bike turns into a #$%* slapping contest ::)

As far as liquid hydrogen goes... Wondering if the tank can take 100' heat from Ca or Nv?  I'll have to see if there are any articles about sticking a tank of hydrogen in a hot car.....  Its not just flames that could kill you... shrapnel to the face can do that too.

Let's get away from the personal attacks. If there's interest in discussing the bike/design/technology, fine. Otherwise.... >:(

well razor, from what I have heard, granted about cars, that does not seem to be a problem. After all, virtually all parts of the country can hit 100. Maybe not this year though! :P obviously a car tank can be insulated better and is not in direct sunlight.  Why doesn't someone just invent Mr.Fusion and then we can say "Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads." ;D

true about the car insolation but I was saying cause there are actual hydrogen prototypes but they run on compressed hydrogen not nessesarily liquid well I'm sure the bike would run on the gas too but still I think it would present a pressure issue in general.

Besides the Mr. Fusion was made to power the time machine part and flux capacitor not the car itself.   :P  This is referenced in the third movie when he got the leak in the gas line

And the car flew cause Doc went to the future and got the upgrade... not sure why the car still ran on gasoline though... they didn't specify what the future cars ran on

Hey no need to get technical about it! Besides, I am sure the power could be re-routed to electric motors which could then power both wheels! ;)

guys,

just  a design student playing with 3D software and a high end rendering package,

Honda's not behind it,  even the logo is wrong....

Not that the new VFR replacement looks any better, but still, chill out, :-)

Hahahahaha ;D ;D ;D

Well if it WAS just photoshopped it still is an "interesting" take on an already amazing motorcycle.

Btw off topic once again but it looks like I see a Contour SVT as your avatar. I use to be in love with those back in the day.

I might be more tempted if the guy could spell...

"breaking"
"duel clutch"

Unless he actually means that it breaks, and there are two clutches fighting each other.

My thoughts exactly.   ::)
