Well, I just flew a flight for the company on thurs and spent 1.5 hrs with Jr. in his office today.  Not sure exactly where everything is at....I think right now there is only an opening for a contract pilot....we'll see.....coil hasn't come in yet so no bike right now....only the cub..... insurance still haven't said to go ahead with the repair of the magna....so I am bikeless as of now.

Don't mean to hijack the thread, but who do you fly for myhondas?  I'm a  line service tech out at BKL for Landmark.

Hope everything goes good for you getting into Kucera, Ray.  I'm Sam (Skip Tisch's nephew on his side of the family). I knew you from both Lost Nation and Eagle's Wings!  It never ceases to amaze me at what a small world it really is sometimes.

Hi Sam,
Tina's son right?  Yea, I remember.... try this for small world....met philjimpot at VMD and find he works for kucera. After I flew the flight on thurs. I met Mike who sits next to philjimpot and he rides also.   So anyway, flight went very well and I hope that they bring me on.  On the bike side, I just got the new 2-3 coil in and put it on the bike with NOS OEM plug caps and Bang.... I gots me a four again.....got tired of the twin... ;D ;D ;D so.... i might just take it this friday to the steak & shake.  I will have it at the QS&L in valley view wednesday nite and I want to make it out to Annebells this Friday or Saturday...depends on weather.....

Yep, that's me.  Glad to hear about Kucera..  Gary always seemed like good people to me when we'd smalltalk.  I hope to make it out to a vintage(or any other bike night) night somewhere one of these days, but I'm probably gonna have to wait until next year..  the CB650 came to me in pretty rough shape cosmetically and mechanically, so methinks this winter there is a teardown in my future to replace gaskets/oil o-rings before I get anywere too far from home.. Right now she's a small errand runner and she's marking her spot in the garage pretty good after a few days :)

I'm heading to Ottawa, Ohio in July with a few friends for a scuba event and was planing to trailer my bike out there for some to do some adventuring and to get me out of the car for a while. If I time my trip right, I'll stop in, its on the way.

Tonight is the first night for the 2011 season.  It should be a good one.  It looks like the weather is going to hold out.

Only had a couple of people from this forum show up.  Overall, it was a poor turnout because it was really cold.  The cold air was coming off the lake.  It was 47 degrees.  We did have some pretty cool bikes show up though.  We had one guy ride his Royal Enfield out from Avon Lake!  It's mostly 1970's Jap bikes that show up every Friday but we get some Brit bikes (Triumph, Norton, Matchless) and some other off the wall bikes too.  Nothing against Harleys but we probably only get one or two (which is fine with me).  Most other bike nights in Ohio are nothing but Harleys.  We did have one Harley that showed up last year that was really cool because it was from the 1920's.  It's refreshing to have an event that is different.  Our event is every Friday until October so there is plenty of opportunity to schedule a get together if you choose to do that.  No night is exactly the same.  The warmer nights are better in attendance.  There is no telling what is going to show up.  It's a great group of guys and if you like talking about old bikes and modifications, this is the place to be.

Is this still on until October?
I have subscribed to the post because my daughter is moving to Cleveland soon, probably in the Chagrin Falls area, would be a good night out for me.

If I get my bike up and running in the next month as planned, I'll definitely be up at least a few times this year.
