we went to saucy dogs and it was GREAT. amazing deep fried hot dogs, good burgers, great malts
Sounds like thats where Ill be heading then!!! Never had deep fried hot dogs before...Ill have to give it a try.
I took a nice ride out to Clarklake today. Clarklake is about 18 miles from my house. There is a nice little bar / restaurant called the Eagle's Nest next to Clark Lake. Great burgers and a good fish fry on Fridays.
Well...the good news is I made it home safe from another day of riding...the bad news is I parked my bike outside the garage to let it cool down for a bit...came out 1/2 hour later and notice a nice little oil spot about the size of one of those dollar size pancakes under the far right side of the bike. I knew it was too good to be true...figuring a 35 year old bike is bound to have some hicup eventually!
I got down and looked to see where the oil was coming from and immediately noticed one of the oil lines is leaking like a siv where the metal is clamped over the line itself. I never liked metal being clamped over a hose...same problem Ive had with trucks Ive owned too. I immediately started searching the internet and no one sells an oem / aftermarket replacement...at least I couldnt find any after searching the internet for an hour. Although I did find someone who sells an aftermarket set of oil lines on evilbay for about $150...screw that! I guess Ill have to try and cut the old one off at the leaking end and see if I can fit some type of clamp over the line where it meets the oil line adapter. Oil ran down the frame and I noticed it sprayed the exhaust pipes and rear wheel.
Just when I thought I could just start to enjoy riding its back to work on her again. But my problems came in two...I began to look the bike over for any other problems and noticed I have a bad leak of fork fluid coming from the left fork. Fork oil has ran down and coated the back of the fork. Its my fault though...I knew I shouldve replaced the seals even though they weren't leaking when I got her.
New set on the way. Didnt mean to drag this post out so long.
